Wing Tzun is the Ideal Self-Defense System for Women

Do I really need self-defense?

In these troubled times, women, children and senior citizens are the most vulnerable ones for violent abuse. In America there is one aggravated assault committed every 37 seconds. It is just plain smart to learn an effective self defense System to help us cope with anyone who tries to harm our loved ones or us physically. We need to learn how to build up our
confidence by learning some practical ways to fend off attackers in the streets or at home.

Why is Wing Tzun best suited for women in search of self-defense?

Many fighting arts rely too much on brute strength, take years to master or do not provide enough options. In Wing Tzun little strength is required to deflect strong hits. Instead, structures more suitable for women are
combined with a sense of feeling to neutralize even the most forceful attacks. All this can be learned in a shorter period of time than is required in many martial arts. There are of course short self-defense courses available that teach how to hit a man in vulnerable areas. These
methods do not work and crate a false cense of security and these techniques don't address the barrage of "what ifs" that can arise. What if he knows how to fight?" Women have to use something smarter than pure brute strength or a few standard tricks. And that's where Wing Tzun System comes in.

What would you do? An attack such as the above is all too common a story in the news media. In North America 2,400 people get attacked each day.

Right now you may have no idea what you would do. But after eight weeks of training you will have an understanding of how to deal with situations like these.

What is Wing Tzun?

According to legend, Wing Tzun is a Chinese Self Defense System, which was invented 250 years ago by a Buddhist nun named Ng Moy. It was refined by her student, a lady by the name of Yim Wing Tzun. The name Wing Tzun literally means "Springtime Song."

Wing Tzun is a Smart form of combat, which doesn't use the force-against-force like most style of Martial Art. Wing Tzun is soft, simple, quick effective and economical. No brute strength. Low kicks, straight punches and immediate counterattacks are the trademark of Wing Tzun.
Wing Tzun is one of the most effective systems ever to have come out of China.

Panic:
Panic is natural reaction to stressful situations. By itself it doesn’t help to solve
anything. Training can turn a panic reaction into an intelligent response. That’s not to say you won’t be scared. Even experts in combat can be very scared when faced with an unknown enemy. But an expert doesn’t freeze up whereas an untrained individual probably will.

Run:
When faced with a weapon, run is the best option if you can run to safety. However, if
there is nowhere to run or if you cannot run faster then your attackers, then this option may not work.

Talk:
If you can talk your way out of a situation, great! But some attackers are like animals. They don’t like talk. It's best to give them what they want if it's just money. But they may still kill you. If they want you to get in a car with them then you are doomed. Don’t. In this case don’t give them what they want. Your best bet is to fight with all you have got. Yell and scream.
Screaming HELP usually doesn’t work. No one wants to get involved. That's the reality. Yelling “Bomb” or “Fire” may work if there are people around. If there is no one around, it’s your life versus his. Don’t wait till you are a victim or some thing happens to you, learn to defend your self now with the Wing Tzun Self-Defense System.
